Some weddings are memorable because of the setting. Others are memorable because of the people. Tuwan and Cleo’s Kennedy Estate wedding was both.
On July 8, 2026, the couple celebrated at Kennedy Estate in Lizton, Indiana, combining romantic garden-inspired florals with rustic details, Western-inspired style, and whimsical boho elements.
Their purple and blue wedding palette featured blue, lavender, deep purple, ivory, white, and greenery. From the outdoor ceremony to the reception, the details reflected a style that felt personal without being tied to one specific aesthetic.
LoveLight Events provided both Wedding Management and Floral Design, allowing our team to coordinate the logistics while bringing the floral vision to life.
The result was a celebration that felt relaxed, personal, and unmistakably Tuwan and Cleo.

The outdoor ceremony provided a natural starting point for the design.
Kennedy Estate’s mature trees, greenery, and rustic architecture complemented the couple’s garden-inspired style without requiring an elaborate transformation.
At the center, a rustic wooden arbor was draped in soft ivory fabric and finished with an organic floral installation. Purple, blue, ivory, white, and greenery framed the structure and created a focal point for the ceremony.

The floral palette brought color and depth to the celebration.
Blue, lavender, deep purple, ivory, white, and greenery were incorporated throughout the ceremony and reception in arrangements of varying shapes and sizes.
The bridal bouquet combined blue and purple accents with ivory, white, and greenery in an organic arrangement that complemented the outdoor setting.

One of the more personal design details was the use of wooden crates around the ceremony arbor and sweetheart table.
The LoveLight Events team custom-stained the crates specifically for Tuwan and Cleo, creating a warm finish that worked with their rustic style.
The crates provided a foundation for ground-level floral arrangements and added another layer of texture to the ceremony installation.
It’s a simple example of how customizing an everyday element can make it feel intentional and event-specific.
LoveLight Events provided both Wedding Management and Floral Design for the celebration.
This allowed our team to coordinate floral installation alongside the ceremony timeline, venue setup, reception transition, and other logistics throughout the day.
For couples who want both planning support and floral design, having those services coordinated by one team can simplify communication and execution.
Tuwan and Cleo also incorporated Western-inspired touches into their attire and photographs.
The groom’s cowboy hat and boots added a playful, personal element and provided a fun contrast to the romantic floral details.
It was a great reminder that meaningful wedding details don’t have to come from traditional décor. Fashion and accessories can be just as expressive.

The reception carried the color palette forward with blue and purple accents, natural wood, and floral details.
Rather than duplicating the ceremony design, the reception interpreted those elements in a setting created for dinner, conversation, and dancing.

The tables featured blue accents and floral arrangements in varying shapes and heights.
Keeping the centerpieces dimensional while allowing sufficient space for place settings and conversation helped create tables that were both visually interesting and functional.

Beyond the planned details, the photographs captured the personality of Tuwan and Cleo and the people surrounding them.
The groom’s Western-inspired style, playful interactions, candid moments, and time spent with family and friends gave the gallery plenty of variety.
Those unscripted moments often become some of the most meaningful images from a wedding.
After the ceremony, Tuwan and Cleo took time for portraits around the property.
Their gallery included romantic portraits, relaxed moments together, and photographs that highlighted their individual personalities.
The result was a collection of images that documented more than the décor—they captured the couple themselves.

Tuwan and Cleo were surrounded by family, friends, and their wedding party throughout the celebration.
From formal portraits to candid guest photographs, the images document the people who came together to support and celebrate with them.
Because years from now, those photographs will be just as important as the flowers and décor.

Work with the existing character of your venue rather than trying to completely transform it.
Romantic florals, rustic elements, and Western-inspired details can work together when they’re connected by the couple’s personal style.
Repeating key colors in the ceremony, reception, florals, and smaller details creates continuity without making every element identical.
The custom-stained wooden crates were a relatively simple addition that made the ceremony design feel more personal.
Some of the best photographs happen between scheduled moments. Leave room in the timeline to enjoy them.
Tuwan and Cleo’s color palette offers plenty of inspiration for couples considering purple and blue wedding flowers.
Instead of choosing one shade of each color, layering blue, lavender, deep purple, ivory, white, and greenery creates dimension while keeping the overall look cohesive.
This palette can work especially well for garden, rustic, boho, or outdoor weddings.
Consider incorporating the colors through:
What made Tuwan and Cleo’s wedding memorable wasn’t that every detail matched.
It was that the details reflected who they are.
The garden setting, colorful florals, rustic elements, Western-inspired fashion, and candid moments came together without feeling overly formal or staged.
